“How do we inspire the human mind?”

Young Barney Innovations Lab is a social ideas incubator exploring this question through story, film, and technology projects. How do we scale this moment of passion or excitement to a technology that can travel the world? How can we inspire people to take action together? What is the story that will lead humanity into its next chapter?

YBIL is an ever-fluctuating group of creative and curious individuals driven to ideate and consciously define a future we can all look forward to. Projects are judged on their potential for societal impact before profit.  We search for moments of delight, suspense, relief, and joy and then use these empirical insights to build stories and experiences that inspire.

Our future is the collection of articulated ideas that exist today. Young Barney Innovations Lab strives to conceive and develop new ideas that will take us to a more harmonious and satisfying place.
